I have had what is called IC since I was a child. I was 30 before it was diagnosed as Urethal Syndrome, with no infection or bacteria present. Having no insurance, I couldn't afford to keep buying the Urispas prescription, so the nurse told me to buy AzoStandard from the pharmacy. It is over the counter medication/no prescription required medicine that stops my spams with 15-30 minutes. Also, coffee is the main culprit for setting off my symptoms. A lesser one is sleeping overnight on a unstable too soft of a mattress.
