Did I have a heart attack?

Hi, I am a 37 yo male 235 lbs.  I had gotten as high as 260lbs, but began taking tenuate 75mg because I recognized I was not controlling my weight as I had long believed I could.  I have been feeling increasingly weak and short of breath over the past year, most intensely in the past two months.  The other day I was helping my neighbor move some doors and I started to feel exhausted after only a few minutes.  I came in the house and felt awful like I could not breath and like my heart was not even pumping.  I layed down on the bed and woke up four hours later feeling awful.  Later in th evening my energy came back, but I now feel like I have a limit, like I am weak after just short exertions.  Did I have a heart attack or something?

Thanks

You need to be evaluated and it is hard to know what is going on with your symptoms but clearly to need to see a doctor and be checked out.  Maybe an exercise echo would help sort this out.

the doctor here won't know if you did or not because they didn't run cardiac enzymes on you.  What you definately need is to see a doctor about this, and probably have a stress test.   It's also possible you are having an ahrythmia and may need a heart monitor.
