Dizziness

Hi, i am 16years old. Recently, i've always been feeling dizzy after exercise. Even the exercise wasnt a tired one or even after i keep walking around for some time, once i stop i'll feel very dizzy and feels like almost fainting. At the same time, i'll feel very weak and short of breath. And my body temperature will get very low. Since i'm a athlete in school, I always have training. Always feel very sick after dat. I remember there was few times i almost fainted during training cos short of breath. At night, i always cough and somtimes even feel like vomiting when coughing. There was once i felt so short of breath all of a sudden at night and felt like almost faint. Is there any problem with me? I am really very worry about it. I hope u can help me.

My daughter is fifteen and experiencing the same thing. She has asthma but this was unrelated. We were referred to a cardiologist who checked her and said everthing was ok. She thought that her blood pressure was dropping during exercise. She also works out daily and the doctor said to check her blood pressure every day for a week. She said that if that is what's happening, you can take salt pills which will raise blood pressure a couple of hours before working out. We are still taking her blood pressure, so not that far along. Good luck and it is most likely something like this.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
The above comments suggesting "Bonchial asthma" are very relavant. As far as heart related conditions are concerned, similar symptoms can occur and are sometimes referred to as "Cardiac Asthma." A thorough evaluation by a health care professional and relevant tests as needed including lung function tests would help answer the question.
