Enlarged heart for a 19 year old

Hi

I've been given two ECGs in the past from two different doctors, and the first one told me that it showed I had an enlarged heart, but it wasn't a big deal so not to worry. However a few months later I went to the hospital for chest pain and they did another ECG and when I brought up that I was told I had an enlarged heart the doctor told me that the results showed that I did not have an enlarged heart and if I did at my age, it would be very serious. As of now I've had a lot of trouble finding another doctor that accepts my insurance to get this checked out a third time, but I'd like to know which doctor is right about an enlarged heart being a serious issue at my age. Thanks for any help, this has been causing me a great deal of stress lately

(and I apologize if this isn't the correct topic, I wasn't sure which to pick)

Oops, sorry... that's what I meant, I thought ECG stood for echocardiogram, but turns out I was wrong.. I have had two of those already is what I meant, both having a different result. I am just interested in knowing if having one at my age is something that I should be worried about

The best test to determine if you have an enlarged heart is an echocardiogram.  This will settle the issue as the ECG in a young person can sometimes be misleading in terms of heart enlargement.
