do you have an arrythmia?sorry i am new 2 this forum havent really figured it out yet!
thank you for quick reply. yes my thyroid is normal, i have had alot of blood work done in the past few years! I am not an anxious person @ all and have had this prob 2 deal with for a long time+have never gotten d tingling+numbness b4 so I dont think it would be anxiety related?
I bet the tingling and numbess is anxiety stemming from the IST. I wonder if you should have some testing to check for adrenal or hormonal issues. I will assume your Thyroid is normal?
do you know if tingling, numbness in my face (usually around my cheeks and most often on right hand side) is a symtom of ist? I seem 2 get it when my hr is higher than usual?
yes i have tried all the medications (beta blockers, calcium channel blockers and some new type of tablet that targets the sinus node) none of them lowered my hr and they made the dizziness+fatigue worse. As i am so symtomatic I feel it is a real struggle to do nothing so that is why i am having another ablation even though i know there is only a small chance it will work. I have changed cardiologists once already+am also seeing an electrophysiologist
I would wonder if you should not try medical management as if three ablations haven't worked --a fourth is probably unlikely to help--talk to your doctor and you might consider a second opinion.
I am quite surprised to hear that you're about to have your 4th attempt at ablating IST. You have had no other rhythm problems such as PVC's, PAC's, or even Vtach? What are your symptoms and how do they begin?
Is this the same cardiologist you've been using all along?
