lowering bp with exercise?

hello, i just had a stress echo done while i was on the tredmill they took my bp four times, first time 128./75 and as my heart rate rose from 100 to 179 my bp fell final bp at 179 hr was 102/61, i have had problems with weakness and low bp at other times as well, results of echo were dilated left atrium, left ventircal ef at 45-50% and prominent right atrium, also i have been having severe shortness of breath at all times even sitting... i am woindering what could cause my bp to fall with excertion the nurse said it should have went up considerably and not fallen but she had no explanation for me, also i am type 2 diabetic

Drop in blood pressure during stress test could be suggestive of ischemia . This could be detected by changes in EKG and Echocardiogram. Your Cardiologist can tell you if this was the case
