should i be worried biscusip heart valule angnia

should i be worried? I have been  told that i have a biscuip heart valve and mild angina. I  am getting the pain now even at rest. Will I have to have the the valve replaced at some time and can the pain come from the valule the was no real signs of coranary arites blocking up. Will i know if the vavle gets worst what do i look for symtom wise . My g.p has told it might get stiff soon and i may need it replaced . He has put me on a gtn spray and staitian tablets but my lipids are not that high. So why the statian. Can i use the spray  again if the pain first dont go off and how long do wait before i use again.
thanks

Many people have a bicuspid aortic valve--about one in 500 people.  You should see a cardiologist to see if the valve is narrowed or is leaking and if you need to have further evaluation.  Since you are having symptoms you should do this fairly soon.
