tachycardia

I have been having tachycardia in my sleep which resolves once I wake up (usually in a panic and short on breath).    My doctor gave me inderal to help control this,  but I am scared that I have sleep apnea which may be causing this to happen to me to start with.   I am not sure what to do because I cannot pay for a sleep study at this time, I have no insurance or money...so I was wondering, would it be dangerous for me to play around with inderal with not knowing of my true diagnosis?

I would suggest a discussion with your doctor regarding your concerns and see if he/she thinks you are likely to have sleep apnea and need a sleep study.

I am sort of thinking that, if my tachycardia is indeed due to apnea, the inderal will prevent the life-saving oxygen from being delivered to my brain from a rapid pulse when I stop breathing in my sleep and therefore I'll stand a higher chance or dying
