Am I falling apart?

Anyone who can help me understand what is happening to me right now and why I cant get my Doctor to take me seriously please HELP!!!!!! I'm tired of going through all this pain and confusion as to what to do about it....I have a high family risk factor for Cancer of the Colan and have already had around 27polups the size of my pinky finger and thumb removed in 2007. Am overdue on my colonoscopy but cannot get the referral to a Specialist in my area and cannot afford to drive the distance to the other Doctor and Hospital that I went to the first time around. 75miles one way. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am on Medicaid, my husband is disabled.  I feel this is why my health care isn't being maintained the way it should be.

Sorry I haven't been online in awhile. But anyhow I finally went to see a new doctor yesturday and had the colonoscopy done, he removed 4polyps and said he thought it looked ok. Didnt feel that they were cancerous but sent them off anyway. I still have constipaption and only get relief when i take laxitive so im still in the dark as to what is causing all my problems, still have bloated stomache and cramps and gas and all that fun stuff. I would love to just get all the testing done and find out once and for all what the problems are. I hope you and your son got the answers you were looking for, I just cant help but think that if I had good insurance id be taken care of better. Its like they dont want to deal with me. yes i agree with you my son is 30 years old had probles with colon whole life,did a colonocopsy on him said mild inflamation but yet take high doses of meds for 4 months well it isnt working has direah everyday loosing weight i am upset they told we will talk when you back in may.well he has a medical card i think you get treated different.well i am going back with him next month i want answer you demand them to listen.my brother had polups remove 5 times now i know how you feel my brother is worried to but so far he said they were ok,but you need to tell them i want answer i had 3 brothers an father who had polups removed so far no cancer. but you know here people get upset an go to emergency room then they listen,because they do treat you different then if you have insurance,i see here where i live to.
