Blood in my poo, that looks black

Over the passed couple of days, I have noticed that when I go for a number two, there is some blood in it, and when i wipe the blod is a dark redish kind of colour. I am 17 and haven't got a clue what this is, can anyone help? And in the bowl it looks like my poo is actually black but the surrounding water is a pinky/red colour. Any suggestions?

I don't know what the term "farmer giles" means, but I've been told by medical professionals that any time you find black colored blood in your stool you should get it checked out immediately.
