Chest/shoulder pain, metallic taste in mouth...

Hi, I have been diagnosed with IBS after a colonoscopy and CT of my abdomen showing no other issues. My symptoms have mainly been pain under my ribs and a lot of gas.
I have also had this chest/shoulder pain that wraps around into my back and radiates down my left arm, all the way to my wrist sometimes.  I have noticed this pain seems to come on about 5-10 days before my monthly cycle. I have had everything checked out from a Cardiac standpoint, so I know it's not my heart. I have recently in the last few months also been experiencing a metallic taste in my mouth on and off during this pain.
I also have had increased sweating of my hands, and I have noticed a foul odor with this as well...could all of these things be related to IBS? I was thinking maybe so since it's related to my cycle...I remember seeing that sometimes the changes in hormones make the symptoms worse.
I can't seem to get a straight answer from any Dr.'s on what this pain is. I do have anxiety, and perhaps that is complicating this, but I am not necessarily anxious when I am having this pain, so I don't believe it is that alone.
Reflux has been mentioned, but I would not describe my pain as heartburn.
Thanks!

The pain under your ribs and the metalic taste sound like your gallbladder, which your gallbladder can cause pains in other parts of your body. The pains around your montly cycle sounds like endometriosis which is on your uterus and causes severe pain specially during your mentral cycle. A metalic taste could also be from medication are you taking any medications that you started around that time. My best advice for you would be to look up more info on gallbladder and endometriosis and see if you have alot of symtoms from either of them and to talk to your doctor about them. The tests on both of them are pretty harsh though so I would research on your own to see if you think theres a possibility it might be one of them. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and you have to have surgery to be diagnosed with it. But alot of people have endometriosis and don't realize it for years. One of the biggest symptoms with endometriosis is pain after having sex and severe pain during a mentral period so if you have both of those you better get into your ob doctor cause most likely that is what it is.
