Hip Pain?

Hi,
I was diagnosed as having IBS a few years ago after a colonoscopy and endoscopy.  My question is that I seem to have a lot of pain in my right hip area especially before BM.  Does anyone else experience pain in the hip and lower back area?

I know this is an old question, but I have Celiac disease and also was having a lot of hip area pain while standing.  I knew I had leg length discrepancy, but it's only 1/2 inch, so doctors told me this should cause no problems.  They were wrong, because as soon as I started standing with my shorter leg on a book that was half an inch high, my hip pain and also other nerve pains in the leg started to get better!  Halfway into my second day like that, I was pain free.  In addition, my digestive system seemed to start working better.  I've decided that mechanics like leg length discrepancy of even 1/2 inch can be crucially important to comfort.
