Loose stools

I went to work in Sudan for about 4 years in the 1970s where I got the usual array of diseases including amoebic dystentery as well as hepatitis (the jaundice version). Ever since then I have generally had loose stools, not runny just loose and unformed. This has never been accompanied by any feeling of illness. I am on the whole very healthy. I have always thought that it might be a consequence of having a fast metabolism. Am I right not to be concerned?

Not specifically. I used to have full health check-ups but I don't ever remember a stool sample being taken.

Have you ever had stool testing done since you returned home?
