PLEASE HELP!

I have posted several times before but I really need HELP!  I am SCARED!!!  I HAVE gerd/ IBS and severe anxiety.. I have suffered with these for a very long time.  And have frequent flare ups!  Dont know what happens first, but know they work very good together..  about 2 months ago, we had something very bad here happened and my anxiety/depression went sky high and my symptoms with my digestive system went nuts.  I got the usual rumbling that happens up high in my chest and rumbles for hrs. and then I got pain and constipated which with my IBS its usually the opposite.. Then with the rumbling it caused a pain up under my left breast and dead center between my breasts, or where my stomach starts, lower esphagus..  It was awful.  Still after all these weeks I am still getting the rumbling after anything I eat.. And it causes pain.  I am nausea in the morning, low appetite, and when I get hungry I am so afraid to eat because of this happening... right now all is quiet, little nausea, but the minute I eat it will start.   Went to the ER 3x in the past 3 months.  Had x rays of my digestive system, stomach and colon.  Had a chest xray, bloodwork,  I had stress test, echo, EKG'S , ALOT of them.... KUB of my kidneys.. I had the endo/colonscopy 3 1/2 yrs ago... but  right now my anxiety is telling me its  something bad... cause how can this be just gerd and how can this be just IBS???  pLEASE HELP ME...

We have somewhat different tmp toms.  Have you seen a GI doctor?  I had the endoscopy, colonoscopy, stool checks, blood work, etc.  I was on Nexium before but can't take it.  I am now on Omeprazole which is the same class of drugs. I have htd time with a lotofmedications.  Part of my problem is I have chronic dry mouth and throat and most of these meds make that worse.  I was taking Levsin, which helped one.  Also give Zofran for nausea, as needed.  He then prescribed Nortriptyline at bed time.  I started that Wednesday night and Thursday. I had nausea all day Thursday and bad yesterday. Not surfeit was that med.  I didn't take it last night to see if there is a difference today. So far, not too bad this morning.
My doctor told me yesterday to try Dicyclomine 4 times a day and stop the Levsin.  No problems so far but causing very dry mouth and I have only taken two pills so far.
Most of these issues started after I was on Clindomycin for a tooth infection!  It was making me sick but dentist wanted me to try and finish it. I question the IBS diagnosis but would have to go to UCSF or Stanford for another opinion.
My routine now is taking the Dicyclomine (instead of the Levsin) when I get up.  An hour or so later, I take 1/2 Alprazolam (Xanax).  I will now have to take the new med 3 more times today.  If I get too bloated, I use Gas X and the Zofran, if I need it.
It's all a vicious circle, I know.  My problems are from my esophagus all the way down my digestive tract.  Now getting somewhat constipated from these meds.
It is scary, I totally understand. Mod go see a GI dic.
Good luck

I am taking zoloft 25mg which is a very lose dose, and low dose xanax too.  For my Gerd I take prilosec ..  I have no answers either.  Do you have pain everyday cause I live in fear of eating anything for fear of the pain starting.  My DR. says the pain up under the left breast is where the colon bends and gas and stool sometimes gets trapped and will cause pain.. or spasms.. but the pain in the upper stomach or esphagus scares me, and then my anxiety goes crazy and I think the worse!!!

Your story sounds very much like what I have been dealing with, including the ER visits. You take any meds? They give you something for the anxiety? I take low dose Xanax.
Wish I had the answers.
