Please respond as soon as possible!!!

I have been having diarrhea a day after I ate some chinese food. Along with it came a fever a headache, stomach cramps, weakness of muscles, shortness of breath, and continuous diarrhea. Then the next day I vomited 2 times then I felt better. I started to eat soup. The following day I had to call out of work because I still have diarrhea. I was wondering if its a case of msg a virus or a stomach flu?

Very well could be. If you are having constant diarhea, you need to stop is ASAP since it can lead to severe dehydration. Make sure to consume antacids or pepto bismol until the diarhea stops. Continue to consume as liquid of a diet as possible for easy digestion. In addition, drink plenty of water and electrolyte beverages such as gatorade. If things don't clear up in a few days (diarhea) go to an emergency room. If you are able to get the diarhea under control but continue to have abdominal pains, make an urgent appointment to see a gastro doctor. Feel better.

Welcome to the IBS community!  This could be a virus or the stomach flu.  If it continues I would recommend seeing your doctor about it.
