pain on left side in.

hi i'm 33 female. i have pain on left side. i went to the doctor and he thinks it's my bowl and want to send me for a cat scan. this is pricey, it hurts only when i eat meat. is there any one else who has had this or know any one that has had this problem. i'm a little scared. and will have the scan soon. thanks,hope to hear good news soon but if it's negative i still ant to hear it.

It sounds like you have Diverticulitist, Red meat hurts really bad I actually had this last year. You dont want to eat really anything for a couple of days and clear fluids and then what i did was went to a naturapath which helped me change my diet enough that it really no longer bothers me. I can tell you that once it is infected it hurts really bad so i hope the best for you cause this is something you should really get until your older im 35 and it was way hard on me to be diagnoised with this disease. I ate alot of steamed brown rice and vegetables and healed my self from the inside out and it actually went away and they told me i would live with this for the rest of mylife.
