I'm afraid you have no choice in this matter.
Should it indeed be appendicitis, if treatment is delayed,
complications such as peritonitis can occur, where your hospitalization may be much longer.
There are of course differential diagnoses, however, do not let the absence of fever and vomiting, stir you away from the
suspicion of appendicitis. These 2 symptoms only represent
2 points or less out of ten on the Alvarado score, which is used for diagnosing appendicitis. 7 points are necessary for
an acute appendicitis dx.
My opinion, get this evaluated asap.
