I have a kidney disease called IGA nephropathy. I have been taking 5 mgs of Monopril and 100 mgs of allopurinal for 10 years or more. I would like to get off the drugs. Can I ween myself off these without any problems as I want to go with natural remedies. Thanks. Chris.

Hi Kris, you can get off the medication slowly if you are in remission. How is your urinalysis looking now? Is there any protein?
