Any information on esophageal necrosis around here?

I've had 4 scopes down the throat and they discovered that my entire esophagus is DEAD. They call it acute esophageal necrosis. What I've read online is that less that 50 people in the world have been diagnosed with this, so I'm one of the lucky ones. I haven't been given any information at all about this, so I'm hoping someone can help with information. I've been suffering with swallowing problems since 2005... it's an on and off thing. Food feels like it is stuck at the back of my throat and I will have to drink a lot of fluids to get it to go down, or cough it up. I've had throat problems since I was 8 years old. Glands would swell up and the doc would put me on penicillin. By the time I was 35, my tonsils had rotted away, so I didn't have to have them removed, but it was constant pain for many years.  Anyone with info on esophageal necrosis, please respond. thank u      8-)
