Complex stage 2 kidney cyst

I went to a routine exam and had an ultrasound done and my doctor told me I had a complex stage 2 cyst on left kidney and that my right kidney was enlarged. I went for a ct scan and he now tells me it showed nothing. I'm still having pain and wondering if I should get a second opinion. Is this possible not to be seen the second test??

Update. The cyst is a complex cyst in the upper kidney pole.
