Does anyone have any ideas what it is?

I have been ill for 4 yrs now with this problem. The symptoms never change or get any better. The problem is I have pain on my right side just at the bottom of rib cage which radiates into my back. I have blood in my urine. The pain is intense without medication. People that I have spoken to have all said it sounds like kidney stones. But after xrays,ct scans it has shown no stones but a cyst that is growing. Could this be the cause of my pain as my consultant says that the cyst cannot be the cause of pain. I have been on morphine now for 4yrs. Can anyone help pls.

Get a second or third or fourth opinion. Blood in the urine is not a good sign. They may want to do a biopsy of some kidney tissue to see if there is anything wrong that way. And make sure they are doing tests to ensure your kidney's are otherwise functioning properly and you don't have signs of chronic kidney disease.

I am disgusted that they would give you morphine and tell you to live with it when there is something obviously wrong. People's kidneys don't bleed for no reason.
