How to Reduce the Creatinine Level ?

Hi,

My Father, 52 years, has been suffering from Diabetes for over 15 years. He also has high BP. Recently, He took his blood tests and found that his Creatinine level has shot up to 12.0mgs/dl

Blood Test Report :

Hemaglobin - 7.4 gms/dl
Blood Sugar (PP) - 133 mgs/dl
Creatinine - 12.0 mgs/dl
Sodium - 145.0mmol/l
Pottassium - 3.6mmol/l

What I wanted to know is:

1) Can this creatinine clearance level be brought down?
2) If not, can this be maintained?
3) Is there a prescribed diet or exercise for this?
4) Can he prevent the kidney from further damage?
5) At what level is Dialysis Required ?
6) Can the Creatinine level be brought down by taking Homeopathy treatment ?

Kidney diet - dialysis patients required? Can this be avoided?

Thanks,

I would recommend consulting with a kidney dietician. High sodium diets with high protein and dairy foods can over work kidneys already overworking due to impaired functionality. Food can either be our medicine, or our poison. Anything to reduce the extra workload of the kidneys is beneficial!!! I wish you both well!!

I think Paranayam helps! try Kapal Bhati at a slow speed and with lighter strokes. Kapal Bhati should essentially be followd by agnisaar ( 3 to 5 times) and Anulom vilom, the durtion of anulom vilom should never be less than the time spent on Kapal Bhati. Kapalbhati should have strokes not exceeding 60 in one minute, with the practice it should be done for 30 min. ( Kapal Bhati and anulom vilom) total 60 min.
