Kidney Infection? Addisons? Stones? :(

Hi there... I'm a 26 year old female, and I am struggling to figure out whether
or not I should wait for an appointment the day after tomorrow at my GP or
return to the ER (uninsured for another month)

Last friday I went to the ER for extreme pain on my left lower flank-- that pain
lasted from 7:30 in the morning until 6 at night. They took a urine sample and
said there was blood in it, but not a lot and it was probably just a stone.
Since then Ive had steadily increasing EXTREME fatigue and pain (though not as
strong of pain as friday), nausea, low fever and very severe "brain fog"...

While I've had abdominal pain and slowly increasing fatigue for the last two
years, it's never been this bad, and the usual suspects for that kind of thing
didn't check out when I saw my GP. The doctor at the ER said it could be a
kidney infection, but it didnt look like there was enough blood for it... She
also mentioned "Addisons" disease as something to look into. Today I am
completely wiped out; a train wreck at work, but I'm not sure if this is
something I should wait til tomorrow or the next day to go to my GP about, or if
I need to head back to the ER. My insurance doesn't start until January the 1st,
so I'm trying to careful if it's just stones. Any ideas..? I would really
appreciate it.

How are you? Were you able to have this checked by your attending physician? Hematuria can be caused by a variety of issues such as  vigorous exercise, sexual activity, viral illness, trauma, or infection, such as a urinary tract infection (UTI). More serious causes Additional diagnostic tests such as imaging studies may need to be done to determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
