Large kidney stone causing vaginal bleeding

My mother just turned 94 years old. She resides in a nursing home and is very alert. She has been taken to the hospital for vaginal bleeding, and found to have a large kidney stone. They have mentioned surgery, which she has refused because she doesn't feel that she would survive the procedure. Is there anything that can be done? I could use some advice.

                                      Thank you!

Is your mother a Christian?  If so, what a nice way to go, IF she were to go on the operating table because God called her home... unconscious and feeling no pain!

On the other hand, if she chooses to do nothing, she may be opting for a Prolonged painful ordeal.  You could try doing a search "dissolving kidney stones", but I don't know if any of those natural remedies work or not.
