Kidney Infection

I went to urgent care the other day because I was having really bad pain in my low back and could barely walk. The doctor said I had a Kidney infection and prescribed me antibiotics. My question is I have been taking them for 3 days now twice a day and been drinking lots of water, but my pain is still there it hasnt went away. Also when I woke up this morning I went pee and my right side hurt really bad for atleast 10 mins. I didnt know how long it normally takes to feel better when on antibiotics? Also should I take or do anything else to heal faster? My back is killing me it hurts to sit back in a chair because it puts pressure on my lower back.

when put on antibiotics normally my pain goes away almost immediately.
However, when in such extreme pain, I like to take hot baths or use a heating pad, that normally helps.
