Kidney problem?

Hi, last friday I had a ct scan of my thorax with contrast. The day after I noticed a dull ache in the bottom of my back on the sides. I pee in normal frequencies and the colour is quite light. I went to the doctor and he did a dipstick test which was normal. This was 07/08/2013, today on the 08/08/2013 I noticed it kind of burns when I pee. Before the ct scan my kidneys were in good shape. Any ideas what it could be or am I just imagining thing?

Hi

Well, to be honest, the burning sensation stopped the day after. The only things I still feel are back pain (on the sides). I am constipated so maybe that's a cause? My pee still has a good color and the amount is still good as well. Should I still be worried?

Hi,
Aside from the burning sensation, what other symptoms are present? This could be due to a urinary tract infection which may occur when bacteria enter the urinary tract through the urethra and begin to multiply in the bladder.  Risk factors include not drinking enough water, not urinating when there is the urge to urinate or history of recurrent UTI,  among others,  A repeat urinalysis may help rule this out. Hope this helps. Take care and do keep us posted.
