eGFR Meaning

Hi,

I am a 31 year old male. My eGFR has dropped from 116 to 97 ml/min/1.73m2 over a 4-month period (same lab and tests were repeated a couple of times). While the value is still well above 60, can something be concluded from the large decrease in this short timeframe? Is it indicative of anything and would a particular follow up be suggested?
