N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE

I've been told that taking Vitamin C will prevent N-ACETYL-L-CYSTEINE 600mg - from forming kidney stones.  How does this happen?

IMHO be careful with taking any added Vit C without your doctor's ok.  Too much Vit C can cause kidney stones .. I'd be leary.
