Hi. If there are swollen glands on your neck without any pain, do you recall any particular dental infection, or sore throat recently? For these, you may wish to see an Ear nose and throat doctor, or a surgeon, and he'll assess if the swelling is suspicious enough to warrant a biopsy.
I'm a bit lost with the "strange feeling" in the bikini line, do you mean in the groin? If so, do you have risk factors for an STD (multiple partners, ulcers/warts on the labia, recurrent infections in the vagina)? you may wish to see a gynecologist for this. If the bikini line is above the shoulder or the armpit - an examination by a GP should be enough.
Hi! I am desperate for answers. I do have weakness (I used to work out and my muscles are fatigued, lo energy and sleep for 10-12 hrs/nt, I seem to have a lo grade fever, just typically cold all the time and for wks now, I am slightly warm, no heat on in house-does that give you any more clues as to my symptoms? Also, I have a strange feeling in my rt bikini line area and my neck glands are real swollen (same side)--do you have any idea what kind of dr I should see next?
Hi. I'm assuming that you have non-specific symptoms (fatigue, generalized weakness, occasional fever). The lymphocytes do not seem to be alarmingly high. The d-dimer may increase with any pathologic process that causes coagulation, and this may range from viral and bacterial infections, disorders of coagulation per se, and a variety of cancers. At this point, it is difficult to seek a specialist when the possibilities are pretty broad, hence a generalist is probably best. Unfortunately, even if you do all tests, there is still a good likelihood of not getting a definite diagnosis, as some cases evolve over time, and the specific clues may not have emerged. Listen to your body, and report anything new, and keep your spirits up.
