The recommendation is to use "mast cell stabilizers". There are also some, such as quercetin, that are not drugs.
So what exactly do you think . ? I was on anti histamine for 3 months did absolutely nothing.. Was thinking maybe a food allergy not too sure though...
For anybody who might be reading this thread in the future, heart pain known as angina can also be caused by mast cell activity:

"Kounis syndrome"
I think that all your problems likely have the same cause. You can do a lot to help yourself, but you need to put in a lot of effort. So it depends on you.
When is your next cardiologist visit?
(Do you know that the itch is likely caused by histamine?)
Wow flushing ? Yes I do ..like particular my arm and left ear go absolutely scalding hot ...what is vasodilation ? I have a loop recorder in my heart but I'm told there not connected I super very painful chest pain literally takes me down .thanks so much for your help ...the node in my neck aches then sends the pain down..its not every day but comes on strong.. I have really deep itch in my hands and feet..again only comes on in bouts...last year in Hosp wbc was 12 and low potassium..my heart is clear from blockages ..I am 28 so I know it's not from that...I just find the pain worrying
Your pain could be from alcohol causing vasodilation which further enlarges already swollen nodes, Maybe a node of yours presses on a nerve. Is the pain in the node or does it only radiate downward?
I saw your posts from last year.Has any doctor ever mentioned "mast cells" to you? Mast cells line the GI tract and also the airways. Maybe your mast cells are over reactive. Can you draw a line on your sternum with your fingernail?
Do you ever get random overall flushing?

But unfortunately that list doesn't show the count in the threads.
This "left thigh covered in pupura" makes me think it is not a systemic condition, i.e. not low platelets or low coagulation proteins but rather something local. Any chance of skin infection like cellulitis?
Hi where do I find them ? Liver function is fine :-) thanks
Hi, there are two long threads on this forum that you can search for about node pain after alcohol. Most or all are from causes other than what you typically read about on the internet: a blood cancer. None are as severe as what you describe.
Have you had liver tests?
