thanks u its so nice of to try to help
Yes, it is quite common to have normal blood work with blood cancers. It often doesn't get skewed until disease has advanced. Good luck and I hope you get some answers soon.
i don't think her doc i concerned at all because in her blood work her platelets count are in a normal range but i just google and i found that 36% of childrens with acute lymphocytes leukemia have a normal platelets counts so im really confused, we gonna have an oder blood work i believe this weekend and we will see, thanks again
Low grade fevers along with swollen lymph nodes can be something serious, and the length of time that the nodes have been swollen are concerning. You might inquire about doing a biopsy of the nodes. This is the most definitive way to diagnose blood cancers (if that is truly what her doctor is concerned about).
thanks for your respond no she doesn't frequent fevers just low grades and her weight is normal she has 2 lymph nodes for at least 4 months and one just a week ago. thanks for trying to help i really appreciate it
I imagine that you are incredibly worried...having children of my own I truly understand that. I should have been a little more clear with my last post. Has she had any symptoms such as frequent fevers or extreme weight loss? Also, how long has she had the swollen lymph nodes?
thanks for your comment, actually she doesn't have any other symptoms but she is only 19 months so i can't always tell and her doctor mention further testing but im just super scared because of our family history
thank u

Hi emma,
I wish I was better at interpreting lab results. Besides the swollen lymph nodes, has your daughter had any other symptoms? Did her doctor seem concerned about her labs or mention further testing?
