Check out wbc count decreased by using dramamine.
Hi.
The most common side effects of Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) include dizziness, drowsiness, restlessness, blurred vision, dry mouth/nose/throat, and decreased appetite.
Research did not show it to cause blood cell problems. However, in case you are experiencing any problem with drug, you should report this to your physician.
Can extended use of Dramamine for sleeping cause blood cell problems?
Hi.
There are various drugs that can be given in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia that can induce sleep. Examples include Zolpidem and Flurazepam. However, these drugs should be used with caution especially if other drugs are being taken (like tricyclic antidepressants, antipsychotics) as the sedative effect is additive. Also, there are disease conditions where these drugs are contraindicated, like in patients with severe liver disease.
It would be best to consult your physician.
Good luck.
