Painless lump under right jawline

A couple days ago, I was just touching the bottom right jawline near my ear. I felt a small lump. It can be felt when I tilt my head upwards and left. I am wondering if this is a reactive lymph node. It is painless and firm. And I have no idea when it developed. I am currently having canker sores (healing) in my mouth and back of my throat. I also excessive saliva, but I started having this after I found out there is a lump under my right jawline (making me stressful). Any idea what this is? Thanks!

"I am wondering if this is a reactive lymph node."

Yes, almost certainly.

The submandibular nodes are just under the jawline. What is happening in the mouth 'drains' to the submandibulars. Also, saliva contains antibodies that fight infection. So everything fits with being a reactive condition.

Just keep a casual eye on how things develop, without worrying. :)
