.. thank you soo much sir...
.... Hoping to get well soon..;-)
Okay, that node is the submental node. Actually it is a small group of nodes all bunched together. Whatever is present inside the lip (like a bacteria) will drain into the submental nodes, and then the nodes "react". A node is like a net stretched across a stream, and the net catches whatever comes floating down. So they are called "reactive nodes" and are not cancer.
(The submandibular nodes are different. There are two submandibulars, one on each side of the throat.)
Your medicines are:
1) an anti-inflammatory
2) an antibiotic
3) an antibiotic mouthwash - which probably means that the doctor knows about the sore, or else the doctor thinks there might be some mouth infection
I hope that the sore disappears soon :) Regardless, you do not have to worry about anything serious happening. Best of luck to you.
The node is just beneath the jaw... in middle... Not on any side.
Just hoping to get well soon as early as possible.
.
.. Thanks a lott sir.... For your advise
"In what time will the node vanish? "
maybe a week or two after the sore disappears. If fibrosis, then years.
"The canker sore is on left side inside the cheek near lip."
yes, but you haven't said on which side is the swollen node.
"Will the node vanish by the medicines?"
I know of no medicine to make the node go down. Maybe an anti-inflammatory might help a little bit. I assume the medicine you were given is for the sore.
BUT!! if the canker sore and the node both result from autoimmunity, then a powerful anti-inflammatory like prednisone could help a lot. If the canker sore is from a bacterial infection, then an antibiotic should hurry things.
"Can it turn into something serious?"
no, it is very unlikely for the node to turn into cancer or anything serious
In what time will the node vanish?
The canker sore is on left side inside the cheek near lip.
And node under the lower jaw.
Will the node vanish by the medicines?
Can it turn into something serious?
Also i have a canker sore on my left cheek near the lips...
So there is no worry about lymphoma here and no need for a biopsy. Canker sores can be mysterious and have varied causes, it might go down all by itself even without treatment. Good luck.
