My wife’s CBC result, WBC 15.6 neutrophils 0.83 nd lympocytes 0.11 what does it mean? pls help. . . tnx
According to Mayo Clinic an elevated lymphocyte count could be:
Severe viral infection
Cancer of the blood or lymphatic system
An autoimmune disorder causing ongoing (chronic) inflammation
Segmenters are also known as neutrophils. A combination of high lymphocytes and low neutrophils most likely points to a viral infection. SOme antibiotics can also decrease your neutrophil count.
