Blood work for detecting liver issues

Hello. New member here. I have had two routine blood workups over the past few months and both times, the results showed elevated liver enzymes. My doctor has decided to do more in-depth blood work. Yesterday, I went and had my blood drawn and they took 11 vials!! That seemed like a lot of vials. Can anyone advise what type of tests my doctor could be running?

Hello! Welcome! Elevated enzymes could be anything, drinking can cause it, so can medication.  Heating healthy can help as can additional water.
How are your platelets? Just curious.
When I had elevated enzymes, low platelets I was sent to a blood specialist. He tested me for Lupus, lymphoma, Leukemia and hepatitis.
Unfortunately I had Hepatitis C. Definitely not saying you have that, just what I was tested for.
I hope you get answers quickly
