Can my SGOT and SGPT go high because of this?

i had a liver transplant roughly 6 years ago. and 2 days ago i drank a 1 oz shot of jagermeister. will this affect my new liver? im never going to drink any more alcohol ever again in my life. im terribly worried right now. im currently taking tacrolimus medication aswell. should i be worried? i feel perfectly fine though. i dont have any symptoms. if i was to take a blood test in 4 days, will my sgpt and sgot level go high? please help. thank you.

First of all, anyone that has been given a 2nd chance should respect the donor and not drink. My mom died and was a donor, I hope you weren't blessed to get her liver. This is just shameful, sorry, but you sitting thinking about your liver again, and i bet you were scared 6 yrs ago too. just shameful.

You’ll be fine just don’t abuse alcohol. I have a Liver Transplant I drink but sparingly like a glass of wine for dinner and so forth.

I doubt very much that once ounce of booze will affect your liver.
And I don't believe you would see any changes in your liver enzymes.
May I ask what your underlying disease was.

Good luck,
Mike
