Sorry I forgot to mention. Its 2.7cm by 1.7cm.
My blood work is perfectly fine, all my levels are within the normal range. This FNH was found incidentally when I was getting my gallbladder scanned. 2 MRI's later they know it is a FNH in the 7th segment of my liver inferior to the right hepatic vein.
It is compressing my IVC, not to the point of complete compression, I have no lower limb swelling but it indeed is pushing on this. I was speaking with the surgeon who says it's a very dangerous area to have surgery due to proximity of major vessels and that as of now he won't touch it. He will do a repeat MRI in 3 months to see if it is growing.
In the meantime, I'm in so much pain on my right side and back. They discovered 5 polyps in my gallbladder. Not sure which issue is causing my issues. Either way it's a little scary.
Referred pain can happen with liver/abdominal issues. Of course your doctor will tell you that your liver doesn't feel pain. But I and many others like yourself know that the pain is very real, even if it isn't directly the liver itself.
If you can share some of your blood work data, it will help us in knowing how affected your liver function is. And the size of your tumor as well. Packaging issues in such a tightly filled region can cause many problems.
