Increasing ALP liver test - early

I stumbled on here because I am worried about my increasing levels of ALP but they are not out of range, yet. I go in for a colonscopy on Tuesday to see whether or not I have IBD.

I would like to ask you about your ALP before or during diagnosis.

Here are my ALP levels in U/L

4/22/2009  - 86 (20-125)

1/26/2010 - 89 (40-115)

9/20/2010  - 69 (40-110)

11/10/2010  - 108 (50-136)

11/19/2011 - 126 (50-136)

11/20/2011 - 115 (50-136)

Does this look like early PSC?

My doc did not think it was progressive, but tested for my reassurance. Thanks for answering my question. Since then I have had 2 scans, one with and without oral contrast. I also had liver ultrasound along with autoimmune test, liver test, protein ele, immunology, auto hep, hep and nothing was found. My last ALP was 90. So everything was normal.

Doc tells me not to worry since none of them are out of range. Also liver disease like PSC, PCC the levels are around 600.

The values of Alkaline phosphatase are progressively increasing. The levels of alkaline phosphatase are normally raised in children and pregnant women.  They could also be raised in liver disorders, bone diseases: where there is increased resorption due to bone growth,  bone fractures, rheumatoid arthritis, excessive medications and gastrointestinal inflammation. Considering the above fact the raised Alkaline phosphatase levels could be because of the gastrointestinal inflammation for which you are undergoing colonoscopy. But the possibility of other diseases also needs to be considered. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance.
