liver damage or leukimia

I have small red dots on my torso and chest neck area also on my upper legs.
I've taken alot of ibuprophen and pain meds for muscle and headache pain.  I have been a janitor for many yrs. and
use a respirator but still fumes get in my sinus'.  My father died of leukemia.  He handled gas and oil products all the
time.  Could I possibly have compromised my immune system & liver?

Milk thistle... I really don't know. Old people say it helps... They may be right. I suppose it can't hurt you.

Choline is a nutrient found in eggs, meat, etc. You don't usually eat any of these?

does NAC help for liver diseases also choline, milk thistle?  I read NAC is given for tyenol overdose, but I went to hospital and they gave me prednisone which is processed by the liver

You have probably compromised your body's ability to produce platelets. The little red dots are called Petechiae, and they're a sign that you're dangerously low on thrombocytes. Ibuprofen and all the other NSAIDs can do that if taken regularly. Your condition is called Thrombocytopenia and it's an emergency.

hi was just had some blood tests done to check for dibetes and I am diabetic but also found out that my alt is 369 and my ast is 182. I am on a waitint list to see a gi doc. my question is - is this really high and do I need to worry some. I see on here that people have a lot lower numbers than I do and its serious. so I was wondering where I fit in with this. this is all new and a surprise to me. plus im having a little pain in the right upper side under my breast.

You mention nothing about a history of liver disease so why post in this forum? Only a doctor can take a medical history, examine you and diagnose the cause of your small red dots. Leukemia is cancer of the blood and has nothing to do with liver disease. Best to post in the "Leukemia & Lymphoma Community" were those experienced with Leukemia can be found.
See a doctor and get a diagnosis.

Good luck!
