Thank you for your opinions. I went to the doc, and am now awaiting test results.
my veins were extremely prominent before i had my gallbladder removed due to dyskenisia. i spent 6months in pain with my arms and legs turning blue before they figured it out. the abdominal pain was fairly persistant, mid-to-right upper abdomen with some tenderness to the touch, typically worse after meals. if that sounds like your pain it might be wort looking into. since getting the gallbladder out ive had no abdominal pain or blue/intense veins.
smoking is known to cause poor circulation, the veins thing might be as simple as cutting back on those cigs. if your short on cash that'll save you a few bucks anyway right?
I would say that is does need the prompt attention of a Dr. I am not sure about where you live, but they have clinics that are on income basis, so you pay way less for your visits as well as any testing. I would most definately stop the drinking until this is taken care of, because if it has something to do with a liver issue it is going to make it worse. Liver problems are nothing to play with, also I would cut sugar intake and possible fat intake until a Dr is seen. I am not sure about the spots and veins showing but the pain where you are describing it, is something you should be seen for!
