Can it make your actual stomach hurt - well, no. BUT You can experience bloating and a dull ache throughout your upper right quadrant due to pressure on your liver capsule. If the cause is from a chronic infection of the gallbladder, that could maybe move toward your stomach and remaining G-I tract...I would consult a qualified MD on the latter (as my answer on the 2nd part is pure speculation)
it must be from liver then because i dont have my gallbladder, the reason i asked was because i have a idiot primary doctor and when i asked him if it could make my stomach hurt he said no because its a main organ which is stupid because the heart is a main organ and when you have a heart attack you get pain sometimes.
Well, he's half right - the liver itself has no nerve endings-or very few, but the sac it resides in sure does. When the liver swells, pressure is applied to that sack - and then one can feel pain. This pain is pretty exclusively felt on the upper right side of your abdomen and as high as mid breast level - and maybe halfway between your lowest right rib - midway to your navel - but staying to the right side - and not the left
Even if your GB has been removed, the bile ducts in the area can still be inflamed and cause similar pain sensations to that of cholycystitis
