Liver problem

Hello, my name is Tomas. I am 23 years old. I come from Slovak republic. I was in hospital 2 weeks ago for 5 days. I have high temperature 39 C 2 days before hospitalization. I used "PARALEN" in UK we called that PARACETAMOL. I used this pills maybe 1-3 times per year. 2 days before hospitalization i had a little bit yellow eyes. skin was okej. nature colour. I got stomakache, dislike to eat, no emesis. My doctor thought, I have choleplania A,B or C. my biochemy, when I was hospitalize first day: (S-BILC) 62,0 umol/l, (S-BILK) 51,7 umol/l, (S-AST) 19,52 ukat/l, (S-ALT) 43,07 ukat/l, (S-GMT) 8,06 ukat/l. Doctors told me, they never see so high calibre.  During my hospitalization I had 1 infusion per day with 5% Glukose with Celaskon, and some pills... for regeneration my liver. Today is 2 weeks after hospitalization, my results are S-BIL 17,2, S-AST 0,75, S-ALT 3,14, S-GMT 5,30, S-ALP 1,18, S-CRP 0,69. My doctors  said me, I shouldn´t use alcohol.. Never again... Yes, is it true, i drunk just a little bit more ( maybe 3 times per week (8x 0,05 dcl) vodka, or sometimes with beer.. I know, this is a lot. But othetimes I didn´t have same problems like now. Choleplania was not affirmed by biochemy. I am very happy about that. My reason, to write exactly to you, or on this website is, that doctors in Slovakia are arrogant, and I want to listen, or read some verb from other country and from expert. I am possible to regenerate my liver a long time... I can deflate alcohol... But, in future, some wine, not too much, or sometimes, vodka/jim beam, I don´t know.. Is it true, that my liver is not accept alcohol, other way, don´t have exactly enzyms to analyze alcohol?.... I am student... I am not alcoholic... pls, write me, what you think about that?

Tomas,  generally the liver can regenerate without a problem after an acetaminophen overdose.  the fact that you drank somewhat predisposed you to developing this liver damage.  if you remain abstinent from drinking you should be totally fine.

no problem with forwarding me your lab results.  for now you should refrain from all alcohol use.  You will be able to drink something in the future, but never to excess.  Some people are genetically predisposed to develop damage from drinking and you definitely could be of age to do so.

a lot of people told me, that 23 years old is too young age, to have this problem exactly with alcohol.. I am not notorious alcoholic.. I have pills for about 4 months to regenerate. In this time I don´t touch alcohol. Beer as well. Is it possible, that my liver don´t accept alcohol all of my life??  I know, drugs are really dangerous for liver too, but, i don ´t try that.. I can ´t believe, my liver is so sensitive for alcohol.. So, you think, I shouldn´t use alcohol never? I don ´t wanna be bromidic... Can I informate you with my bochemy results after 6 weeks??
