bad taste in mouth, diarrhea, aches and pains

I am 5 months post liver transplant.  I feel my endurance is decreasing.  Other symptoms include: bad taste in mouth, aches and pains with muscles and joints, diarrhea, and headache.  No fever or nausea.  Am I just complaining or should I take more seriously.  I had blood drawn today.  My next appointment with my transplant team is june 15.

thanks

bill

back pain should not be due to your renal dysfunction.  how much is the creatinine?

the only other medication i take is prograf  4mg  2x day.  initially your thoughts included medications as a cause of my symptoms.  are you more concerned about cmv or infections?  my blood count went from 38 to 31 and my creatinine is now high which explains my back pain.  my symptoms have not improved greatly since cellcept reduction 7 days ago.  they are discussing  my case in clinic today.  any lab tests you would recommend?

thanks doctor,

the symptoms you describe typically are not due to cellcept in my opinion.

my doctors have reduced my cellcept in half.  1000 mg 2x day to 500 mg 2x day.  they said my symptoms are common and reducing the cellcept should help.  any comment?

a lot of what you desrcibe are common symptoms that people have during the first year post-transplantation, some probably related to the medications that you are taking. Must always rule out CMV or other viral infections.
