many questions hep c with cirrohsis

I have been asking questions but I don't think I asked in this forum if I did I apologize for asking again I am told I need a transplant the hospital I go to will not put me on the list due to insurance and because I drank over 10 years ago I have to do therapy for 6 months which I am doing however the hospital I go to is not very helpfull it's like they are trying everything not to give me a transplant my medicare will not start untill 4-09 I have a spindown when it comes to medicaid I would like to know if anyone can recomend a state and hospital that is more patient friendly that will give you information so I can help myself I know diet is important especially protein no red meat other than that I am unsure as to how many grams of what protein I can eat I take laculose 2 water pills high blood pressure pills and a chinese medicine that I found that seems to work better than anything my meld is 17 and stage 3.5  i'm told
I just had a ultra sound an mri blood I was told no cancer but one doctor tells me one thing another tells me another the transplant center tells me nothing I am frustrated depressed and tired of being told i'm gonna die without a transplant but no healthcare proffesionals will help(no insurance yet!)and they don't guarantee I will be put on the list after I do the therapy because I will have to do the test I already did stress tests ect. transplant evaluation it's a nightmere any help will be appreciated as far as diet hospitals caring doctors believe me my family and i will move my point is put me on the list I'll finish your therapy my medicare is only 7 month's away and I have a spindown of 12000.00for medicaid right now at least I wouldn't have to wait so long once everything falls into place and I still can't believe the therapy after not drinking for so long and I don't mind telling you they have me scared to death and I used to be pretty thick skinned I don't know how much of how bad I feel is due to being depressed or the disease

i think that you should consider listing in more than 1 UNOS region.  there is no need for dietary restrictions aside from sodium.  what state do you live in?

you may also look to go to another transplant center such as in tennesee and seek their opinion.
