normal liver ultrasound elevated alt still
I had a physical for a job, and my liver alt was high at 82. After a week with no alcohol or Tylenol it went up to 97 a weeks later 170. I then spotted omeprazole for 10 days and it was at 106. I just had a liver ultrasound and everything came back normal. What can the problem be? Can omeprazole cause this?

rarely omeprazole could do it. sometimes the ALT can fluctuate inconsequentially. continue to follow expectantly and if it remains elevated further testing might be necessary
