Is urso 250 being used to treat fatty liver ? . If not is there something that is being tryed or used ? Thanks

if the HCV is cured than just continue to eat a health conscious diet.  if the cholesterol is elevated that might need to be treated. The milk thistile is good to take

urso has been used as well as vitamin E and some cholesterol or glucose lowering medications.  none are standard of care yet and weight loss when appropriate is the most important treatment.

Thank you for your response. I have read from you and others that weight loss is the most important treatment.
The thing is that I am not over weight at all. I am 5 11" 160 # and I exercise regular dont eat red meat, Ect.
I just developed this in the last year or 2. It was discovered during a routine ultra sound that I have done every year.
I was diagionised with Hep c about 7 years ago and completed treatment 5 years ago with sucess. I have type 1 if I remember correctly.
Periodically I get a pressure feeling under my ribs like I did before my treatment which I treat with Milk thistle , It seems to help some.
Any more input you could give me I would appreciate I dont live in the U.S. and the doctors here are not all that informed with this.
