Hi,
If you have had these symptoms for nine years (and I assume that you have had chest CT scan done during the workup), it is highly unlikely to be lung cancer.
If you are not fully satisfied with the diagnosis, and feel that further investigations need to be done, you could see a pulmonologist and a cardiologist for a detailed workup and evaluation.
All the best, and God Bless!
I have not had a CT done. I did see a Cardiologist and I had an EKG, and Echo and a heart monitor and all came back normal. Is getting a CT scan something I should consider?
Hi,
In my opinion, you should get a CT scan of the thorax and a Thyroid profile done. A high resolution CT of the chest is indicated as you have had some respiratory and chest symptoms for nine years now.
Please seek the advise of a good internist, and get a thorough workup done.
Please keep me posted as to how things turn out.
Good luck!
