CT scan shows 4mm post inflammatory change on lung, cancer?
Hey everyone I recently got a CT scan due to abdomen pain which incidentally found a 4mm nodule on my lung. My doctor told me its due to a post inflammatory change and that I shouldn't be concerned b/c of its size. I'm 24, smoke about 1/4 of a pack a day for the past 6 years. She recommended another CT scan in 6 months to see if it grows. Should I be worried about this? Are these common?
