thank you, I am going for a second opinion to an onocologist that I have gone to before. I did not like the lung docs attitude, it;'s nothing he said. going to maake sure, i trust the onocologist.

I can understand your apprehensions. Usually multiple opacities or nodules in lung which are less than 10 mm in size are due to conditions like inflammation, tuberculosis (military type with multiple lesions), asbestosis, silicosis, auto-immune diseases etc. Some of these conditions can also cause swollen lymph nodes which can be shotty or pellet like. A lymph node may be filled with glass like material. This usually happens in amyloidosis, sarcoidosis or in cancer. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind.
